随后，大皖新闻记者从青阳县文旅部门获悉，事发地点属于九华山同脉，是“野生景点”，并称这种行为非常危险，相关科室正在在调查处理此事。下一步，将在事发地点周边入口和乡镇增设文明旅游、安全旅游宣传标语，并加大巡查力度等安全管理工作。
